My name is Kadek Agus Rian Kusuma， I was born in Ubud on December 12， 1990. My father is a wood carver that sell his products in Jl Mas Ubud， which is famous with its gorgeous wood carvings. Ubud is a village in Bali that rich of cultures and arts. When I was just a little boy， I saw there were many wood carvings stuffs produced by my father that gave me spirit to produce similar things someday. Today my father changed his business to Furniture which is more promising， I'm more interesting in making tableware items. My father tells me that we cannot obtain any success by doing nothing， but with efforts， nothing is impossible. After graduated from university in Denpasar， my father taught me about business. I observed the workers while doing the whole process of production. Since there were so many wood sculptures， panels and home decors available in the village， I wanted to do business that little bit different but still from wood material. I'm married and have one daughter. Having children motivated me to be more success in business and give a better life for my wife and daughter. My wife also helping me sell the products I produce in the workshop. We also helped by 2 workers in the production， I give the designs to them. We are producing tableware items from teak and coconut woods. The production is still only using manual tools like hand-grind and lathe tools. The finishing is using beeswax.
